Day of the Angels Day of the Dead ceramic figurine is unique. An adult skeleton angel and two child sized skeleton angels are set within a recessed nook and then framed with a flat front to create a panoramic 3-D type styling. The recessed nook is white with decorative bones and crossbones scattered across the walls and floor. The large skeleton angel is wearing a hooded long robe and holding a large red heart in it's arms with it's short wings open looking straight out from the frame. The two girl child size skeleton angels are standing sideways looking at each other with small wings open in front of and off to the side of the large angel. The outer frame is black with white bones, crossbones and skulls. Outer portion of frame is outlined in red.

This particular piece of D.O.D. Peruvian folk art is used as a year round item in a nook or shelf on the wall. Unique in it's styling this is popular for putting an altars or memorials of the deceased. Can also be used for Halloween or funky home decor. November 1st the official date of the Day of the Dead celebration.

Day of the Dead is celebrated the day after Halloween throughout Latin America and the lower half of the United States. Tucson, Arizona has one of the largest U.S. celebrations and there are many celebrations throughout the area due to our proximity to the border of Mexico.
