The Earp Brothers of Tombstone is a composite biography of the Earp brothers - Wyatt, Virgil, Morgan, James and Warner based upon the recollections of Mrs. Virgil Earp.  Mrs. Earp dictated to the author in the 1930's and with the addition of documents that he found in 1959 he writes what is considered to be the most authorative account ever to be published on the subject of the Earp brothers and their lives in Tombstone, Arizona.

About the author:
Frank Waters wrote The Man Who Killed the Deer, The Colorado in the Rivers of America series, Book of the Hopi, Brave Are My People: Indian Heroes Not Forgotten.  In 1953, Waters was awarded the Taos Artists Award for Notable Achievement in the Art of Writing and from the 1930's until his death in 1995 in Arroyo Seco, New Mexico he published numerous novels, articles and works of nonfiction.
