The Earp Brothers of Tombstone is a composite biography of the Earp brothers - Wyatt, Virgil, Morgan, James and Warner based upon the recollections of Mrs. Virgil Earp.  Mrs. Earp dictated to the author in the 1930's and with the addition of documents that he found in 1959 he writes what is considered to be the most authorative account ever to be published on the subject of the Earp brothers and their lives in Tombstone, Arizona.
"A particularly interesting piece of Americana which will appeal especially to readers of westerns in spite of the fact that it topples several television and folklore idols." - Booklist
