The indians shown on the shirt are Chiricahua Apache warriors. From left to right is Yanozha (Geronimo's brother-in-law), Chappo (Geronimo's son), Fun (Yanozha's half brother) and Geronimo. This photo was taken after Geronimo's surrender to General Crook in March, 1886. Photograph way taken by C.S. Fly.
Geronimo was born to the Bedonkohe Apache trube in No-doyohn Canon in June, 1829. This area was near the present day town of Clifton, Arizona. He was the fourth child in a family of 8 children (four boys, four girls), and was called "Goyathlay" which means "One Who Yawns."
