About the author:
Thelma Heatwole has spent most of her life as a reporter-photographer traveling throughout Arizona. She has interviewed generals, covered plane wrecks, rode camels and had more adventures than most of us in her career. Her stories and photographs have appeared in the Arizona Republic and The Phoenix Gazette. As a lover of Arizona history she developed a fascination for Arizona ghost towns and shared her findings in stories and photographs of the historical past of Arizona. The stories of her travels through the fascinating history of Arizona's past are timeless classics of a time long past but not forgotten.
